What The Dickens? is the highly entertaining and original format for the more discerning viewer. This arts-based comedy panel game is presented by SANDI TOKSVIG (who delivers more laughs per inch than any other performer working today), and co-hosted by team captains, comedian, Supersizer and recent winner of Maestro, SUE PERKINS, and comedian CHRIS ADDISON, star of In The Loop and The Thick Of It.

Rounds include, ‘Yes, and I’m Mickey Mouse’ where the host introduces a member of the public who happens to have the same name as a famous fictional character and the teams are given 90 seconds to identify them through ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ questions. In ‘Love It Or Loathe It’, that week’s guests are invited to choose a subject from the arts that either delights or disgusts them.

They must then claim that they both love it and loathe it in turn, with the opposing team then deciding in which of the extreme opinions expressed lies the truth. The show culminates with the frenetic ‘Losing The Plot’, in which points can be won and lost by captains as they attempt to communicate to their exasperated team mates the titles of books, films and songs without mentioning place names or characters.

What The Dickens? is always entertaining and unpredictable, and if you think no one really cares who wins, try telling Chris and Sue that.
