Skithouse was originally produced for the Ten Network in Australia. The programme was an instant hit, particularly with the network’s target demographic of 16-39 year olds. Initially commissioned for thirteen episodes, the network ended up rolling out three series totalling 39 episodes.

The programme is fast-paced - often packing 30 sketches into a 22 minute programme time. The material is character driven, slice-of-life humour, making the themes universal.
